On Friday 21st May we did our DARE graduation. D.A.R.E stands for drug, abuse, resistance, education. DARE also stands for Define, Assess, Respond, Evaluate. It is a course that year 6 children take to learn about the effects of drugs, smoking, alcohol, self esteem, bullying and anti-social behaviour. In DARE we learnt not to take drugs because they make you die young. At the end of our D.A.R.E course we put on a performance for our graduation. We sang Stop Before You Start, Drugbusters, What do Drugs do and Wake Me Up. Chloe’s favourite song to sing was Drugbusters and so was Rowan’s. Chloe’s favourite play to watch was the self-esteem one. Rowan’s favourite play was the bullying one.
